Welcome to the European Field Herping Community (EFHC), here is the foundation of what we hope will grow to be a large photo & field report sharing area for European herpers, amateur or pros...
This site was created by Daniel Phillips and Matt Wilson (click for more info).
This site will not give out specific locations for any species, common or rare. This site will not show or deal with any herps albeit of European origin from a captive environment.
We need you ! If you have found this site, then you are interested in reptiles and amphibians, if you perform field trips or regularly go out and photograph the herps you see then we want you to submit photos and reports from your findings.

Common Lizard or Psammodromus?
by Billy Wilkin on 3/9/2010 at 0h24
Hi everyone.
I live near Tarragona in Spain, and i took some photos today of some Lizards, but i cant figure out what species they are. I know they're probably not Podarcis, they look either like common Lizards or Spanish Psammodromus. If anyone could give me some identification tips that would be great. On another note, is the baby gecko in the second pic a Med Gecko or Moorish Gecko? Any help would be appreciated.
Im not sure if anyone can see the pics, this is my first post. If not could anyone tell me how to put them here?
Thank You...
