Sounds like you had a horrible childhood, Michael ;-))). It is not a matter of “this” or “that”. Both are sad and senseless.

As TV has an educational role, regardless of the fact they like it or not, they should just make a decent wildlife show. Long live the BBC... Even their shows can annoy me sometimes, but the difference is huge.

I refuse to accept this. Sensationalism is cheap and easy. Turning the kill of any animal by a Western presenter into a theme is avoidable, even if you insist on delivering "exciting" (or what I would call: crap) TV.

After having flooded by that same medium, yes. Objectivity ? Kids are susceptible. In fact, people are. Many are brainless idiots, i.m.-not-so-h.o.

The environmental impact of eating meat is much, much worse. That’s actually why I don’t really care all that much about this entire discussion, I’m afraid. |
