Wow, you made it to Antikythira and found the catsnake, beautiful animals Illias! 

Matt I think I don't want to make a trip report for Antikythira trip because it will be all curses. I traveled so many kms with trains ships and airplanes, and couldn't get to Pori islet just because of 2 lazy and irresponsible guys in the village. I don't want to say more here, just that whoever wants to try and visit the Pori islet has to think twice. It's not only hard to get to Antikythira but also find a boat, plus the weather has to be perfect to go up and get down of that rock, and this is quite impossible there... Even with 3 bofors NE wind the waves that splash on the rocks are 1.5m high and there are only 2 spots you can climb on.

Maybe later I'll post a few photos of some T.f.intermedius I found.

I didn't know that was your favorite european sp.! Well is one of my favs too :-) 

Why I love Telescopus:
- sober but elegant pattern
- fantasticly graceful way of moving.
- beautiful head
- calm but not always
- active at night (I am crazy about nocturnal herping)
- you don't find one every day

It is also one of the few snakes I have found several times while it was sneakingly hunting geckoes. Usually, the snakes I bump into (which are rare, because I am lazy and slow...), are taking off and that's that...

Thanks for sharing that video. It's amazing to watch these creatures so ably climbing walls with no arms or legs. I think your cheap camera did a pretty good job too!

Yes that's true Jason! You can see how the whole body moves independently but so well controlled.

It is an old sony dsc p200. Videos are like earthquake! Looking forward to shot some footage with a pro video camera...
