Photo?

Why do you think this would be a first for Epirus? They should have a more or less continuous range along the entire Eastern Adriatic / Ionian stretch. 

Because it is said that most of these snakes live in the islands (Creta, Chios etc)... Do you have any link with distribution map in Greece or the balkans ?
I uploaded the photo , I dont know why not shows up, maybe waits administrator approval or something?

Lowland species, for sure, but not restricted to islands per se. Nevertheless, it seems somewhat more abundant on some islands.

Regarding the photo upload, I have used "add more photos" tool. I clicked on "add immage" (from the location that is stored in my HD)and now i see a thump beneath my message with the title "My photos-my forum uploads" of the photo that I uploaded but the photo itself not appears im my post.
Am I doing something wrong ?

Telescopus fallax is quite abundant in whole mainland but hard to find because of its habits ;-)
