Lissotriton Hybrid

I caught this Lissotriton vulgaris x helveticus hybrid last week. In many years of newt surveying I haven't seen one before, although they do turn up occasionally (see http://rxwildlife.org.uk/2010/03/12/a-most-unusual-newt/ although this animal is quite different in appearance). It's interesting to see the intermediate characteristics, particularly the partially webbed feet with very long toes and the tapering tail with a short filament.
Seeing as we haven't had a poll for a while, and just in case anyone isn't convinced, I've added a poll to see what other folk think it is...
