A day in the field at de Veluwe
by Bobby Bok - 26/4/2010 22h44Last week I payed a visit to a large moorland in the Netherlands in an area more commonly known as "de Veluwe". It is one of the largest stretches of nature we have left here and as a consequence it is also a place with many reptiles. I was with two friends and we managed to find 5 out of 7 Dutch reptile species.
Later the week I also visited an area quite near my house where one of my favourite amphibians can be found, it is a none indigenous population that lives in the dunes for some years now. Here are some photo's!
