Natrix tessellata

Hi there,

I was reading about N. tessellata on wikipedia.
it stated that Natrix tessellata is found in belgium.

On the ''Ravon'' forum (for the dutch guys) was a topic about a dead natrix tessellata near ''leuven''

is there someone her who can confirm this?
With an article or something?

Of course, Natrix tessellata is not a part of the natural herpetofauna of Belgium. If you count that find, you can multiply the Belgian herpetofauna by 10x with alien species. The most nearby populations of tessellata are in an isolated area in Germany, along the Mosel and Lahn rivers.
