Ophisops elegans

Hello,

Does anyone know to what subspecies is the european O.elegans assigned? Bulgarian populations are said to be O.e.ehrenbergii but in other literature european form is O.e.macrodactylus!?

Macrodactylus. The attribution to ehrenbergii is an old mistake. The latter occurs in S Turkey, W Syria, Lebanon, Israel, W Jordan and Egypt (nordöstlichster Sinai), while the former occupies SE Bulgaria, NE Greece, European Turkey and W of Anatolia.
