Wake me up when September Ends (September morning in Isère)
by Alexandre Roux - 21/11/2009 12h13September morning in Isère (09/27/2009)
Beautiful day, sure, it was...
The sun was shinning and the herp was waking up.
-10:15 a.m-
In took my bicycle and went to a great viper's spot, in Isère with a friend.
As it was a september morning, we met a lot of hunters, and we started our investigation.
-11:00 a.m-
First herp activity sign, an Agile Frog.

As we were happy to see this frog, 'cause i didn't saw this specie since a long time, we started looking for snakes.
-11:25 a.m-
Imagine how i was suprised when i saw, in the viper's biotop, a beautiful Grass snake (!)

A grass snake which just finished eating a frog.
Then, we met a lot of Edible frogs and we didn't really care about it.
Our objectif was to find Asp vipers, well, we just started on the right way.
-11:45 a.m-
We finally came back at the greatest viper's spot and we realised that there were 4... 5... 6... and more vipers!

-12:20 a.m-
Some weren't affrayed when i came around

-12:45 a.m-
And i think the greatest was this one:

The end of this great morning...
